About
Savannah Acutt
Spatial Designer
I am a spatial designer born and raised in Zimbabwe, a place that instilled in me a deep sense of sensitivity and curiosity to explore the world and its intricate characteristics.
My journey led me to the city of Amsterdam, where my passion for spatial design truly flourished. In 2022, I proudly earned my diploma from the Willem de Kooning Academy. Along this path, I've had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed studios, including working alongside the visionary Marjan van Aubel. Together, we propelled her work to new heights through the art of digital rendering and set styling, a journey that saw our creations grace the cover of Frame magazine.
What sets my work apart is my commitment to the narratives that underpin it. I firmly believe in asking "why" and am driven by the profound stories that design can tell. With a discerning eye for the interplay of colour, materials, and their power to influence the mood of a space, I craft designs that aim for a deeper, more meaningful impact.
In my view, design should always be more than just utilitarian; it should be a powerful medium for storytelling. This belief fuels my pursuit of impactful work that not only shapes spaces but also the emotions and stories they convey.
I invite you into my portfolio, where each project is a chapter in my journey of exploration and storytelling. If you're seeking a designer who combines aesthetics with narratives, I'm eager to embark on the next creative adventure with you.
